We are a roastery second and a coffee house first to the people who walk through our doors. The roaster works away in back, the whole room smells like the next batch, and there is a seat up front with your name on it. Nobody will hurry you.

It started at the old Stedman Corners Store.
Founded in 1998 at the old Stedman Corners Store in Mayville, we have been roasting for our neighbors ever since. Today the roaster lives at our Lakewood shop, and our beans fill cups at restaurants, businesses, and grocery stores well beyond our own counter. The name on the bag is the crossroads where it all began.
